Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and detail-oriented Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our healthcare team. The CMA will assist physicians and providers with patient care, clinical procedures, and administrative tasks while ensuring an exceptional patient experience. The ideal candidate will demonstrate professionalism, strong communication skills, and a commitment to quality patient care. Duties commonly include taking vital signs, documenting patient information, assisting with examinations and procedures, administering medications or injections as authorized, and maintaining exam rooms. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Room patients and obtain medical histories. Measure and record vital signs, height, weight, and other clinical information. Prepare patients for examinations and procedures. Assist providers during examinations and minor procedures. Administer injections and medications as directed by the provider and within scope of practice. Perform point-of-care testing and collect specimens as needed. Document patient information accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR). Process prescription refill requests and provider orders. Maintain exam room cleanliness, supplies, and equipment. Follow OSHA, HIPAA, and infection-control guidelines. Provide excellent customer service to patients and families. QualificationsRequired High School Diploma or GED. Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program. Current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment.
