Job Title:
Medical Assistant•
Pain Management Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our pain management team. The ideal candidate will support healthcare professionals in providing high-quality care to patients experiencing pain. This role involves a combination of clinical and administrative tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our practice.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures
  • Take and record patient medical histories and vital signs
  • Prepare and maintain examination rooms, ensuring cleanliness and organization
  • Schedule patient appointments and manage follow-up care
  • Perform basic laboratory tests and assist with diagnostic procedures
  • Educate patients on treatment plans and medication management
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with regulations
  • Handle patient inquiries and provide excellent customer service
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to improve patient outcomes
Skills and Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a medical assistant program preferred
  • Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or equivalent) is a plus
  • Strong understanding of medical terminology and procedures
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
