JOB SUMMARY
"Come be apart of a growing medical specialty in the northeast corridor of Summerville, South Carolina!" The Certified Medical Assistant under the direction of a Physician, Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner assists in the delivery of health care for patients. Ideal Candidate has endocrinology/diabtelogy and/or intenral medicine expierience. This position performs a wide variety of patient care activities including, but not limited to, maintenance of clinical record and documentation, administering medications, giving injections, and taking vital signs. Position Overview
  • Magnolia Endocrinology is seeking a high-performing Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to support our provider-led specialty practice.
  • This role is essential to delivering exceptional patient care and supporting providers managing complex endocrine conditions.
  • Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, patient-focused, and thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment. Key Responsibilities
  • Assist providers with examinations, procedures, and patient care
  • Room patients, collect vitals, and document clinical data including CGMs and insulin pumps
  • Perform specimen collection and routine testing
  • Administer medications and injections (non-controlled)
  • Ensure smooth patient flow and excellent patient experience
  • Maintain clean, stocked, and compliant clinical spaces A Day in the Life
  • 7:45 AM
  • Prepare rooms, review schedules, and support morning huddle
  • Morning Clinic
  • Room patients, collect data, assist providers, manage flow
  • Midday
  • Handle labs, follow-ups, and patient communication
  • Afternoon Clinic
  • Continue patient care and documentation excellence
  • 4:30-5:00 PM
  • Wrap up charts, prep for next day, ensure clinic readiness Qualifications
  • High School Diploma required; Associate degree preferred
  • 3+ years Medical Assistant experience
  • BLS Certification required
  • CMA, RMA, CCMA, NCMA or equivalent certification
  • Endocrinology or internal medicine experience preferred
