Job Summary The Medical Assistant must represent the RELIVE brand and maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality. The Medical Assistant role requires patient care regarding hormone replacement therapy and blood work as well as doing administrative duties. Role is part time Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. Responsibilities Perform blood draws as per the required instructions provided by the lab. Follow state guidelines and standards Maintain a safe and sanitary environment by applying principles of medical asepsis and infection control techniques and universal precautions Liaise with admin and other medical team members pre and post-therapy and participate in shared decision making Accurately use the online booking systems Assist with callbacks to patients with questions. Provided documentation to the Admin team for submission to EHR Prepare and track inventory to maintain 100% in stock of supplies Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality at all times. Completes other tasks within the scope of the medical assistant including administrative tasks. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred. Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credential preferred. Must have experience drawing blood and administering intramuscular / subcutaneous injections. Minimum of 1-2 years of experience working as a Medical Assistant in a healthcare setting. Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and basic computer skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Compassionate attitude and dedication to providing exceptional patient care. Critical thinking, compassionate, non-judgmental, with attention to detail, and organized. Calm under pressure and ability to work unsupervised. Needs to be a patient listener, a good communicator, and demonstrate the ability to establish effective working relationships with other staff as well as with referral sources.
