Job Description
Cutting Edge Foot and Ankle is seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate team member to join our practice as a Medical Assistant . This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both patient care and administrative responsibilities and wants to grow their skills in a supportive clinic environment. Responsibilities Clinical (Medical Assistant): Assist providers with patient exams, procedures, and treatments Record patient histories, vitals, and treatment notes in the EMR Prepare exam rooms, equipment, and supplies Support wound care and other in-office procedures Educate patients on treatment plans and follow-up care Surgery scheduling Manage check-out, insurance verification, and payments Answer phones, schedule appointments, and handle inquiries Maintain accurate patient records Process referrals, prior authorizations, and medical records requests Check inventory and ensure the exam rooms are stocked Qualifications Previous experience in a medical office preferred Strong multitasking, communication, and organizational skills Compassionate, patient-centered approach eCW experience is a plus MA certification preferred but not required
Hours:
Monday- 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Tuesday
- 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Wednesday
- 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Thursday
- 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Friday
