Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and versatile Cross Trained Medical Assistant to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity for individuals with diverse clinical skills and a passion for patient care across multiple specialties. The ideal candidate will excel in providing exceptional patient service, supporting clinical operations, and demonstrating proficiency in various medical procedures within outpatient and inpatient settings. Responsibilities Assist with patient intake, including collecting medical histories, vital signs, and updating electronic health records (EHR systems) accurately Support clinical procedures such as medication administration, and basic life support (BLS) protocol Conduct physiological assessments and support physicians with anatomy and physiology knowledge during examinations and treatments Manage medical documentation, ICD coding, and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations Provide exceptional patient service by answering questions, scheduling follow-ups, and ensuring a smooth patient experience Patient intake & vitals — Interview patients, obtain medical histories, measure vital signs, and document findings accurately. Lensa Clinical room preparation — Prepare exam rooms, maintain cleanliness, and ensure proper stocking of medical supplies. Lensa Assisting providers — Support physicians during exams and minor procedures; hand instruments, prepare medications, and assist with treatments. Glassdoor Phlebotomy & testing — Perform blood draws, routine lab tests, specimen collection, and documentation. LensaQualifications Proven experience in womens health, hospital medicine, urgent care, or outpatient clinics is highly preferred Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, ICD coding, and medication administration Hands-on experience with EHR systems and medical administrative support functions Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) required; additional certifications such as X-ray or emergency medicine training are a plus Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments such as emergency medicine or inpatient settings Strong communication skills with a dedication to patient care excellence Join our team to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives through energetic engagement and expert clinical support.
