The Crossing Position Overview:

Restoration Clinic at The Crossing is seeking a dedicated and highly organized Medical Assistant to serve as the right hand to one of our Nurse Practitioners. This role is essential to maintaining efficient clinical operations while delivering exceptional, patient-centered care. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, demonstrates strong clinical and administrative skills, and is committed to supporting both patients and providers.

Key Responsibilities:

Triage patients and assist with patient flow to ensure timely and effective care Prepare patients for procedures and provide assistance during clinical procedures Administer injections as directed by the provider Obtain and accurately document vital signs Manage prior authorizations and referrals Handle medication refill requests and coordinate with pharmacies Process clinical orders and support overall care coordination Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation Serve as a key support to the Nurse Practitioner, helping streamline daily operations

Qualifications:

Certified or Registered Medical Assistant preferred Previous clinical experience in a medical office setting strongly preferred Strong understanding of medical terminology and clinical workflows Excellent organizational and multitasking skills Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Strong communication and interpersonal skills Detail-oriented with a commitment to high-quality patient care

Compensation:

Pay based on experience: $13-$15 per hour , depending on certification and years of experience Position pay tops out at $16 per hour , with eligibility for incentive plans thereafter

Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM One Saturday per month sick clinic (rotating schedule) Schedule provided up to a year in advance Most employees work only 2-3 Saturdays per year
