Job Description

Description University Physicians' Association is currently seeking a qualified Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our fast-paced University Infectious Disease clinic.
Position Overview:
We are looking for a dedicated, detail-oriented professional who thrives under pressure and is passionate about patient care. In this role, you will work closely with physicians to ensure a seamless and efficient experience for our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist physicians with patient care and clinical procedures Manage patient scheduling and clinic flow Handle prior authorizations and obtain pre-certifications for MRIs, CTs, and surgeries Track test results and ensure follow-up Triage patients and respond to inquiries professionally Maintain strong communication and positive relationships with patients, families, and healthcare providers
Qualifications:
MA certification required Excellent organizational and communication skills Ability to multitask in a high-volume environment Commitment to compassionate and patient-centered care
