OTP Medical Assistant Cedar Recovery - 3.9 Knoxville, TN Job Details Full-time $20 an hour 2 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance Paid time off Vision insurance 401(k) matching Life insurance Qualifications Collaborate with healthcare professionals Communication with suppliers Google Drive Electronic health records (EHR) management Continuous clinical improvement initiatives Vendor communication Productivity software Stakeholder relationship building Full Job Description Medical Assistant Cedar Recovery Opioid Treatment Program is an outpatient treatment facility that employs an array of evidenced-based treatment modalities to provide an integrated model of care of medical, counseling, and therapeutic interventions to treat every patient's individual needs and promote long-term sustainable recovery from substance use disorder. While Cedar Recovery provides care for all substance use disorders, it has a primary focus on treating opioid use disorder with medications such as Methadone, Buprenorphine and/or Naltrexone (MAT). The purpose of this position is to serve as a Medical Assistant for Cedar Recovery. The responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to the following: Assists Medical Professionals with clinical prep including collection of lab specimens, patient UDS schedule, EKG, phlebotomy, admission data Proficient computer manageability for scheduling and required documentation Acts as support for the Office Coordinator and Patient Care Coordinator

Teamwork and Leadership The ability to collaborate and work with colleagues to achieve the Cedar Recovery mission of solving the opioid epidemic and repairing our communities by providing addiction treatment services that work. Communication Successfully communicate with employees at all levels of the organization on a regular basis - including via face to face, email and other technologies utilized by Cedar Recovery.• Respectfully communicate with vendors, suppliers, and pharmacy representatives. Foster open dialogue and actively listen to others in order to build and maintain effective and respectful working relationships throughout Cedar Recovery. Innovation & Problem Solving Recommends, enhances, and/or implements quality improvement processes that have an impact on the mission of Cedar Recovery. • Applies Creative thinking to develop new solutions.
