Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Certified Medical Assistant, where your expertise will directly impact patient care and clinic efficiency. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive clinical and administrative support in diverse medical settings, including outpatient clinics, hospital environments, and specialized units such as dermatology, emergency medicine, and geriatrics. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will ensure smooth patient flow, accurate documentation, and exceptional service delivery. Responsibilities Perform patient intake procedures, including collecting medical histories and verifying insurance information with enthusiasm and professionalism Measure vital signs accurately and document findings in electronic health record (EHR) systems to ensure seamless information flow Support patient care by preparing examination rooms, and managing inventory of medical supplies Conduct ICD coding for diagnoses and procedures to facilitate billing and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations Provide exceptional patient service by answering questions, explaining procedures clearly, and ensuring comfort throughout visits Experience Prior experience working in hospital or clinic settings with exposure to emergency medicine, urgent care, is highly desirable Demonstrated knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and pharmacology relevant to diverse medical specialties Hands-on experience with EHR systems for documentation and scheduling purposes Familiarity with ICD coding practices for accurate billing processes Experience assisting in dermatology clinics or performing basic X-ray procedures is a plus Knowledge of hospital protocols for intake, vital signs collection, medication administration, and emergency response procedures Previous work in inpatient environments such as Nephrology, or Dialysis Clinics Join us to be part of a dedicated team that values energetic engagement and transparency.
