Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Medical Assistant to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will provide exceptional patient care and support clinical operations across various specialties, outpatient clinics, and emergency medicine settings. Your proactive approach will ensure smooth patient flow, accurate documentation, and efficient clinical procedures. Duties Prepare patients for examinations by explaining procedures, positioning them appropriately, and ensuring comfort throughout their visit. Support clinical staff with procedures including medication administration, wound care, basic X-ray imaging. Provide exceptional patient service by addressing questions, coordinating follow-up appointments, and supporting patient education on medications and treatment plans. Assist with X-ray procedures or other diagnostic imaging as needed within the scope of practice. Support Doctor and Nurse Practitioner in emergency medicine scenarios by providing rapid assistance during urgent situations. Experience Prior experience working in outpatient office is desirable. Proven background in outpatient settings within emergency medicine. Familiarity with EHR systems for documentation to ensure accurate billing and record-keeping. Knowledge of basic physiology, anatomy, pharmacology related to medication administration, and medical terminology is essential.
