How you'll contribute A Certified Medical Assistant who excels in this role: Provides basic patient care activities under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN). Monitors and records vital signs, intake and output, and reports changes in patient condition to nursing staff. Assists patients with activities of daily living including, bathing, grooming, toileting, eating, and ambulation. Observes and promptly reports abnormal physical, mental, or emotional findings. Maintains patient rooms and common areas to ensure a clean, safe, and organized care environment. Supports nursing and physician staff with patient care activities and unit workflow. Manages tech desk operations and assists with maintaining efficient department throughput. Documents patient care and activities in accordance with hospital and unit standards. Participates in required education, competency validation, and performance improvement activities. Performs other duties as assigned. Experience Previous experience in a physician office, clinic, or hospital setting preferred.
