Medical Assistant Job Description - Primary Care Office Our growing primary care office is seeking a dependable and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will assist providers with patient care, administrative duties, and daily clinical operations in a fast-paced outpatient setting. Responsibilities Room and prepare patients for provider visits Obtain and document vital signs, medical history, medications, and chief complaints Administer injections and medications as directed by the provider Perform basic clinical procedures and assist with patient care Answer phone calls and communicate professionally with patients regarding appointments, results, and follow-up Maintain accurate electronic medical records (EMR) documentation Clean and stock exam rooms and maintain clinical supplies Follow infection control and patient confidentiality guidelines Qualifications Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a busy office setting Comfortable using electronic medical records and basic computer systems Friendly, professional, and team-oriented attitude Job Type Full-time / Part-time available Benefits Competitive pay based on experience Paid time off Supportive team environment Opportunities for growth and training Join our office and help provide high-quality, compassionate care to our patients every day.
