The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care at our primary and urgent care clinic. The Hybrid Medical Assistant and Receptionist will be responsible for assisting healthcare professionals with patient intake, performing clinical and administrative tasks, and ensuring a smooth operation of the medical office. Duties Perform patient intake procedures, including obtaining medical histories and vital signs Administer medications and injections Prepare patients for examinations and assist during procedures Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic health records (EHR) Utilize medical terminology effectively in communication with patients and staff Conduct routine laboratory tests, EKGs, and X-rays as required Ensure compliance with safety protocols Provide exceptional patient service to enhance the overall patient experience Patient Reception & Customer Service Appointment Scheduling & Calendar Management Patient Registration & Documentation Insurance Verifcation & Financial Clearance Front-End Revenue Cycle Support Qualifications Previous experience in a clinical setting preferred Familiarity with ICD coding and EHR systems is highly desirable Experience in primary/urgent care is advantageous Ability to perform intake procedures efficiently while maintaining patient comfort Strong communication skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare providers Medical assistant certification required with phlebotomy experience preferably A commitment to providing compassionate care to diverse patient populations Join our team where your skills will make a difference in the lives of our patients!
