We are searching for a part-time medical assistant to work two days per week in our clinic during Summer 2026. Role Description This is a part-time on-site role as a medical assistant at Legacy Orthopedics & Sports Medicine. The medical assistant will be responsible for assisting with clinical tasks such as obtaining histories, preparing patients for exams, applying durable medical equipment, and maintaining medical records. The medical assistant will also act as a scribe to our providers, documenting patient care, prescriptions, and communication with insurance companies. Qualifications Gap-year students are strongly encouraged to apply Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of electronic medical records (EMR) and medical terminology Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines Demonstrate a commitment to quality patient care and safety
