The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support in a fast-paced medical environment. This position involves working closely with healthcare professionals to ensure that patients receive the highest quality of service and care. Duties Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures. Perform routine tasks such as taking vital signs, recording medical histories, and preparing patients for examinations. Administer medications as directed by physicians and monitor patients for any adverse reactions. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, ensuring compliance with medical terminology standards. Provide exceptional patient service by addressing inquiries and concerns in a timely manner. Support the healthcare team in various settings, including hospitals, emergency medicine departments, and pediatric intensive care units (PICU). Assist with geriatric patient care, ensuring comfort and understanding of their specific needs. Ensure cleanliness and organization of the medical office or clinic environment. Qualifications Previous experience in patient care or as a Medical Assistant is preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology is essential for effective communication within the healthcare team. Familiarity with medication administration protocols is an asset. Strong interpersonal skills to provide excellent patient service and support. Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations, particularly in emergency medicine settings. A compassionate approach to working with patients of all ages, including geriatrics.
