  • Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is hiring for a notable national healthcare organization recognized for delivering patient-centered care, innovative health solutions, and comprehensive clinical services across communities.
  • We are currently seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to support a clinical care team in Arlington, TX. This is a temporary contract opportunity from June 22, 2026 - September 25, 2026, with the possibility of extension based on business needs and performance.

Role:
  • The Certified Medical Assistant supports daily clinical operations by assisting providers, preparing patients for examinations, performing clinical procedures within scope of practice, maintaining accurate medical documentation, and ensuring a high-quality patient experience.
This role is ideal for a Medical Assistant who enjoys a fast-paced healthcare environment, values patient interaction, and is comfortable supporting both clinical workflows and administrative coordination.
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform clinical duties within the scope of Medical Assistant practice
  • Room patients, obtain vital signs, and prepare patients for provider examinations
  • Document patient information accurately and efficiently within electronic medical records
  • Assist providers with clinical procedures and patient care activities
  • Perform EKGs and other diagnostic support procedures
  • Collect blood specimens through venipuncture and capillary methods
  • Perform non-invasive specimen collection and basic clinical testing procedures
  • Administer non-intravenous medications as directed
  • Perform wound dressing changes, obtain cultures, and remove superficial wound staples as applicable
  • Operate diagnostic equipment following established procedures (no test interpretation required)
  • Perform equipment quality checks and support proper maintenance
  • Prepare and sterilize medical instruments using appropriate procedures
  • Maintain exam rooms by stocking supplies, organizing equipment, and ensuring cleanliness
  • Follow infection control practices and safety procedures
  • Support patient intake activities and gather required clinical information
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA requirements
  • Support clinical documentation standards and organizational policies
  • Complete additional duties as assigned
  • Required Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Current nationally recognized Medical Assistant certification
  • Current BLS certification for Healthcare Providers
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Basic computer skills with intermediate Excel proficiency
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to remain calm and effective in urgent situations
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of Medical Assistant experience
  • Bilingual Spanish communication skills preferred
  • Experience with ICD-10 and CPT coding
  • Knowledge of HEDIS and STAR quality programs
  • Experience working with electronic medical records (EMR)

  • Pay Details:
  • $23.
