Medical Assistant Location:
Austin, TX, 78704 Victory Medical is seeking an organized, highly motivated, customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Medical Assistant. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a medical office setting and be able to perform a variety of clinical and administrative tasks. Responsibilities :
Assist with patient intake Take patient vitals and record medical history Prepare exam rooms for patient visits Assist with medical procedures as directed by the provider Administer medications and injections as ordered by the provider Perform basic lab tests and prepare specimens for transport Answer patient phone calls and schedule appointments Manage patient records and ensure accuracy and confidentiality Assist with patient referrals
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent Completion of a Medical Assistant program Certification as a Medical Assistant Experience working in a medical office setting Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks Strong attention to detail and accuracy Knowledge of medical terminology and basic medical procedures
Experience:
At least one year of expereince working in Family Practice Experience with
Medicare Annual Wellness Visits Shift:
