The work schedule is Monday - Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM. Your primary work location will be located in South Austin. The practice provides evidence-based care, and they are reputable & respected.
HERE IS WHAT WE SEEK IN A CANDIDATE
- Graduated from a Medical Assistant school program
- Must have at least 1 year of "Private Medical Practice" experience (Sorry, we do not wish to hire an MA with years of experience in Nursing Home or Hospital based facilities. Private practice is different)
- MUST have a good work history. Meaning not a lot of short-term jobs
- We will check references, must have good references
- Must have a positive attitude and be a team player
- Must be personable, to get along with patients and staff
- Must be good with taking vitals and working in an
EMR / EHR
computer systemMUST SPEAK SPANISH
- MUST understand the entire patient care process of a free standing medical practice. (Understand every thing that goes on from the time that a patient walks in the front door until they leave)
- As needed, you may be required to help at the Front Desk, with Insurance Verifications, scheduling pts, (etc.), Prior-Auths, and assist with patient intake / care.
- You MUST pass a background check and drug screening before being hired As for compensation, we offer a competitive hourly rate, and benefits package.
