The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in clinical procedures, patient care, and medical administrative support. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth clinic operations, delivering exceptional patient service, and supporting healthcare providers in delivering high-quality care. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment committed to patient well-being and professional growth. Responsibilities Assist providers with patient intake, including collecting medical histories and documenting symptoms accurately. Measure vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates to support clinical assessments. Prepare patients for examinations and procedures by explaining processes and ensuring comfort. Manage electronic health record (EHR) systems efficiently to document patient information, treatment plans, and ICD coding for billing purposes. Maintain clinical cleanliness by sterilizing equipment and ensuring compliance with health safety standards in both inpatient and outpatient environments. Provide exceptional patient service by addressing questions, coordinating appointments, and facilitating smooth communication between patients and healthcare teams. Skills Strong knowledge of medical terminology and insurance processes. Previous experience in a medical office preferred. Proficiency with ECW and medical administrative support functions including appointment scheduling and insurance documentation. Ability to perform clinical tasks such as vital sign measurement. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages and backgrounds while demonstrating empathy and professionalism. Ability to adapt quickly in fast-paced environments requiring multitasking across multiple responsibilities. $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
