The qualified candidate must be a team player, professional, confident, dependable, and personable.

Responsibilities:

Handle all administrative duties in a timely manner Prepare examination rooms for patients Record patient medical history, and vital statistics in EHR Obtain patient vital signs Collect blood and urine specimens Prepare and administer injections Assist the provider with procedures Authorize drug refills and provide prescription information to pharmacies Call patients with lab results and recommendations Scan documents in the EHR Clean and sterilize instruments and properly dispose of contaminated supplies

Qualifications:

Graduated from a Medical Assistant program Previous experience in OB/GYN is recommended Strong organizational skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
