Certified Medical Assistant
- Family Care, Full-Time, Days Certified Medical Assistant Fast-paced, high-volume clinic looking for a top skilled Certified Medical Assistant
- Sign-On for Eligible New Hires
- Work location: 580 South Denton Tap Road
- Suite 123, Coppell, TX 75019 Work hours: Full-time, 40 hours weekly; Monday thru Friday (745am-445pm) Department highlights: Supportive and Inclusive Culture Career Growth and Promotional Opportunities Clinic is focused on Patient Satisfaction Here's What You Need High School Diploma or equivalent (REQUIRED) CMA
- Current Medical Assistant Certification (REQUIRED) One year of experience as a Medical Assistant (PREFERRED) ACLS or BCLS upon hire (PREFERRED) Willing to consider a New CMA that has completed an Externship Ability to problem solve, multi-task What You Will Do Delivers care to patients utilizing the Certified Medical Assistant Process Conducts patient check out, surgery scheduling and post operative calls as primary function of position Communicates with patient regarding test results and plan of care by phone or mail as directed by physician Provides for patient safety and protection of patient privacy rights May work in the front office as needed May perform other duties as assigned by practice manager, more senior staff, or as requested by healthcare provider(s) Additional perks of being a Texas Health employee include 401k, PTO, medical, dental, Paid Parental Leave, flex spending, tuition reimbursement, Student Loan Repayment Program as well as several other benefits.
