Location:
Cypress ,TX Position Summary We are seeking a compassionate, organized, and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our family practice team. The ideal candidate will provide both clinical and administrative support to ensure high-quality patient care in a fast-paced outpatient setting. This position requires excellent communication skills, professionalism, and a commitment to creating a positive experience for patients of all ages. Responsibilities Clinical Duties Prepare patients for examinations and procedures. Obtain and document vital signs, medical histories, and chief complaints. Assist providers during examinations and minor procedures. Administer injections, immunizations, and medications as directed and within scope of practice. Perform point-of-care testing and collect laboratory specimens. Conduct EKGs and other routine diagnostic procedures as needed. Educate patients regarding medications, treatment plans, and preventive care instructions. Clean, stock, and maintain examination rooms and clinical supplies. Ensure proper infection control and safety protocols are followed.
Pay:
From $17.00 per hour
