The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our medical staff and ensuring the smooth operation of our facility. This position requires a strong understanding of hospital systems, physiology knowledge, and the ability to work effectively in various medical environments, including hospital medicine, emergency medicine, and medical-surgical settings. Responsibilities Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures. Measure and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse. Prepare patients for examinations by explaining procedures and providing necessary information. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in accordance with hospital protocols. Administer medications as directed by physicians or nursing staff. Ensure cleanliness and organization of examination rooms and medical equipment. Support emergency medicine procedures as needed in a Level II trauma center environment. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care. Skills Strong knowledge of physiology and medical terminology. Proficiency in measuring vital signs accurately. Familiarity with hospital systems and protocols related to patient care. Experience in hospital medicine or emergency medicine preferred. Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations, particularly in a PICU or trauma center setting. Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients and healthcare professionals. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
