This vital role combines patient-centered clinical support with seamless administrative functions to ensure exceptional patient care and smooth daily operations. You will be instrumental in managing patient intake, assisting with clinical procedures, and maintaining accurate medical records, all while delivering outstanding service in a fast-paced environment. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will help foster a welcoming atmosphere for patients and support the healthcare team's success. Duties Greet patients warmly, verify their information, and facilitate smooth check-in and check-out processes using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems. Obtain and record vital signs, medical histories, and current medications during patient intake to support accurate diagnosis and treatment planning. Assist healthcare providers with clinical procedures such as injections, medication administration. Maintain thorough documentation of patient encounters, including ICD coding for diagnoses, anatomy and physiology notes, and other relevant medical terminology. Manage appointment scheduling, follow-up reminders, and coordinate referrals for outpatient or inpatient care across various specialties including dermatology, internal medicine, geriatrics, emergency medicine, or hospital medicine. Qualifications Bilingual in both English/Spanish ( Required) Proven experience as a Medical Assistant or in a similar clinical support role within outpatient or hospital environments. Familiarity with EHR systems, ICD coding, medical terminology, and anatomy knowledge is essential. Ability to multitask effectively in fast-paced environments such as emergency departments or outpatient clinics.

$11.00 - $12.50 per hour
