Bilingual Medical Assistant/LVN

Our clinic is searching for a Medical Assistant or LVN to assist with a wide variety of responsibilities related to the primary care setting. The successful candidate will possess strong skills in medical screening, administrative work and medical assisting. This position is full time, and the right candidate will be a team-focused individual who can work independently and maintain deadlines. The Medical Assistant or LVN works closely with Doctor, RN, FNP and front desk staff. Bilingual in Spanish is a requirement.

Responsibilities:

Communicate with patients to efficiently obtain information and monitor patient response to/for treatment. Prepare practice for patient visits by setting up examination rooms, arranging instruments, equipment, and coordinating patient visit logs. Efficiently navigate EMR to complete the following tasks: updating patient vitals, reviewing medication lists, prepping patient charts for future office visits. Administer injections. Perform or assist with various diagnostic tests (including EKG's).

Efficiently utilize the following technology/hardware:

Windows OS, Printer/Scanner, Fax Machine, Office phone for inbound, and outbound calls as needed.
