Our ideal candidate is organized, proactive, patient-focused, and committed to building lasting relationships with both patients and team members. This position is ideal for someone who values stability, teamwork, and professional growth within a supportive outpatient healthcare environment. We have 2 locations - Flower Mound (3 days/week) and North Fort Worth/Keller (2 days/week). Looking for candidates who can travel to both locations.
Responsibilities:
Room and prepare patients for provider visits Obtain and document vital signs and patient histories Assist providers with clinical procedures as needed Coordinate patient care and follow-up communications Manage prescription refill requests and prior authorizations Maintain accurate documentation within the electronic medical record Support front-office and administrative workflows when needed Help ensure an efficient, positive patient experience
Qualifications:
High School Graduate or equivalent Medical Assistant certification Reliable transportation and ability to work at both clinic locations Commitment to professionalism, accountability, and patient-centered care Computer Proficiency is required Excellent verbal and written communication skills Previous outpatient clinic experience preferred Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Electronic Medical Records (EMR) knowledge and experience is preferred Willingness to learn diabetes and endocrine care References/Background check may be requested
