In this vital role, you will provide exceptional patient care and support clinical operations in plastic and reconstructive surgery. Your expertise will help ensure smooth patient flow, accurate documentation, and high-quality medical services. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly, verify their information, and assist with medical intake processes Measure and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates Prepare patients for examinations by explaining procedures and ensuring comfort Assist healthcare providers with clinical tasks including medication administration, wound care and aesthetics . Manage electronic health records (EHR systems) accurately, including documentation of patient histories, ICD coding, and treatment notes Support medical administrative duties such as appointment scheduling, insurance verification, and patient correspondence Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment adhering to safety protocols and infection control standards Requirements Certification as a Medical Assistant from an accredited program is required Proven experience in outpatient or hospital settings with familiarity in dermatology, emergency medicine, or medical-surgical environments preferred Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology essential for effective patient care Experience working with EHR systems and insurance authorizations Ability to perform clinical tasks such as taking vital signs, preparing patients for procedures, and assisting with medication administration Strong patient service skills with a compassionate approach to diverse populations Basic life support (BLS) certification is recommended Ability to adapt quickly and self learning is required sales experience and customer service experience is recommended Join us to be part of a passionate team committed to delivering outstanding healthcare services.
