3-month contract, with potential for extension or a full-time offer

$22 to $24/hr

Schedule:
8 am to 5 pm Monday - Friday Responsibilities for the
Medical Assistant:
Perform all duties within the Medical Assistant scope of practice. Support physicians, advanced practice clinicians (APCs), and nurses in patient care. Prepare and room patients according to established policies and procedures. Assist with patient examinations and perform patient-focused clinical procedures. Administer medications within MA scope of practice (excluding intravenous medications). Operate diagnostic equipment and perform EKGs (without interpreting results). Collect specimens using noninvasive techniques and perform venipuncture for blood collection. Change wound dressings and obtain cultures as directed. Perform quality control checks on clinical equipment. Accurately document patient care in the medical record in a timely manner. Coordinate patient care in accordance with provider direction,pany standards, and policies. Conduct telephone and in-person patient intake and information gathering. Maintain patient confidentiality and provide courteous, respectful service. Clean, stock, andanize exam and treatment rooms. Follow standard infection control and safety protocols. Support andply with Standard Delegation of Orders (SDO). Perform other related duties as assigned. Required Qualifications for the
Medical Assistant:
Nationally recognized Medical Assistant certification Current BLS certification for healthcare providers Knowledge of medical terminology. Phlebotomy skills and experience with venipuncture. Strongmunication and customer service skills. Basicputer proficiency. Ability to remain calm and respond effectively in emergency situations. Why work for Adecco? Pay Details:
