Seeking candidate who is reliable, takes initiative and has a positive attitude & good personality! Candidate will perform routine administrative and clinical assignments to keep the medical facility running smoothly. This role is ideal for a professional who is passionate about health, wellness, and helping patients achieve transformative results.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and administer injections (SQ & IM) for semaglutide, tirzepatide, NAD+ and other products according to prescribed protocols. Ensure accurate dosage preparation and sterile technique. Maintain detailed patient records and assist in monitoring patient progress. Educate patients about medication use, possible side effects, and wellness goals. Follow-up with patients regularly. Follow all clinical safety procedures and Texas health regulations. ​
Qualifications:
Certified Medical Assistant with experience in intramuscular injections. Valid CPR/BLS certification. Must work under the supervision of a licensed provider (Medical Director & Telehealth Doctors). Previous experience administering weight loss injections is preferred. Knowledge of GLP-1 medication is preferred. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Bilingual in English & Spanish is
PREFERRED.
Primary job duties include: Patient Intake, vitals, preparing for and injecting patients and chart patient notes.
Other duties may include:
Payments, scheduling, lead calls, patient follow-up and lab requisitions.
