Full Job Description Overview:
Frisco Urgent Care is seeking an
IMMEDIATE HIRE
for an experienced, outgoing, and reliable Medical Assistant for our growing clinic in Frisco to become a part of our team.
MUST BE BILINGUAL SPANISH.
As a Medical Assistant you will be responsible for providing administrative and clinical support to ensure efficient operation of the medical office. You will support doctor and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization and communication.

This position requires a positive multi-tasking team player who is reliable and able to learn quickly. You will perform routine administrative and clinical assignments to keep the medical facility running smoothly.
Duties:
Assist physician in patient examinations and procedures Record patient medical history and vital signs Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations Administer medications as directed by healthcare providers Perform basic laboratory tests and procedures Schedule patient appointments and follow-ups Maintain medical supplies inventory Ensure compliance with infection control policies and procedures ​
Qualifications:
Proven experience, with at least 2 years as a medical assistant Strong organizational skills Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work Social perceptiveness and service oriented Punctual and self disciplined Excellent customer service and communication skills Empathetic to patient's needs and concerns Highly motivated and organized
Requirements:
Critical thinking and function with varying levels of autonomy Needs to be proficient with computers, EMR (eCW clinical works) experience is a must Positive attitude and team player is a must Maintain a professional appearance, demeanor, and team-oriented behavior; have mutual respect for management and team members; partner with team members to create an exceptional experience for each and every patient Fluent in Medical Terminology & Medication Refill protocols Fluent in SPANISH is a must.
