This position involves working closely with healthcare professionals to ensure the highest standards of patient service and support in both outpatient and inpatient settings. Duties Assist in the preparation of patients for examinations and procedures, ensuring comfort and understanding of the process. Measure and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse. Administer medications as directed by physicians, adhering to safety protocols. Provide medical administrative support, including scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and handling insurance documentation. Collaborate with internal medicine specialists to facilitate comprehensive patient care. Support healthcare providers during examinations and minor surgical procedures as needed. Ensure compliance with all health regulations and standards while delivering quality patient care. Requirements Certification as a Medical Assistant from an accredited program is required. Strong knowledge of patient service protocols and medical terminology. Proficiency in taking vital signs and administering medications safely. Familiarity with medical administrative tasks, including electronic health records (EHR) management. ecw is a plus Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient interaction and support.
