Individual must have a positive attitude and have a team player mentality while also being able to work independently. We are currently seeking reliable, patient-focused Certified Medical Assistant to join our growing practice. Positions are available in our Primary Care department. Our Medical Assistant will work directly with healthcare practice staff to collect test samples, maintain patient records, explain common medical procedures to patients and assist in basic examinations and procedures.
Primary Responsibilities:
Experience with all duties within the scope of a Certified Medical Assistant (procedures, injections, phlebotomy, lab work, prescription refills). Rooming patients, taking vitals and history. Recording patient care documentation in the medical record accurately and timely Coordinating patient care as directed by physicians. Organizing exam and treatment rooms, stocking and cleaning rooms and sterilizing instruments. Maintains business office inventory and equipment by checking stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed supplies and verifying receipt of supplies. Protects patients' rights by maintaining confidentiality of medical, personal, and financial information. Maintains operations by following policies and procedures, reporting needed changes. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Minimum requirements:
Three - five years' experience as a medical assistant in Primary Care Highly proficient computer skills including experience with Microsoft Office, Practice Management Software, and Electronic Medical Records. Bi-lingual is a plus ECW experience a plus Sleep Medicine experience a plus Pediatric experience a plus OB experience a plus If you meet the above requirements please apply today!
