We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Medical Assistant with front office expertise to enhance our team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role with primary responsibilities that include communicating with patients, presenting the program to candidates, taking vitals, performing EKG and phlebotomy, and front office duties. We value team players with clinical skills and experience in insurance and VOB. Fitness exercise knowledge and experience with nutritional counselling are very welcome.
Administrative Duties:
Meet with prospective patients, present the program contents and benefits. Ensure exceptional patient service by maintaining a friendly environment, greeting patients, and upholding outstanding standards. Schedule patients, contact via text and phone to confirm. Organize paper and electronic documents. Participate in clinic marketing efforts and provide ongoing support to promote clinic profitability and success.
Clinical Duties:
Obtain patient vitals, EKG, and perform phlebotomy. Administer injections. Prepare laboratory order forms and obtain patient laboratory results. Assist physicians and providers with patient referrals to other healthcare professionals. Document patient progress notes in the patient chart and/or EMR. Conduct follow-up calls to patients to discuss progress and address concerns. Nutritional counselling experience is highly valuable
