This is a 3-month contract assignment (Possibility of extension or conversion) and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

$20-23/hr. On W2/Pay Rate is based on experience.
Schedule:
Mon to Fri (5 days/wk.) / 7 am - 4 pm or 8 am - 5 pm (depending on clinic needs)
Job Responsibilities:
Perform clinical duties within Medical Assistant scope of practice in accordance with policies and Standard Delegation of Orders (SDO). Operate diagnostic equipment and perform procedures without interpreting test results. Remove superficial wound staples, change dressings, obtain cultures, and administer non-intravenous medications as directed. Collect specimens via noninvasive methods and obtain blood samples through venipuncture or capillary puncture; perform EKGs. Conduct quality control checks and prepare, sterilize, and maintain instruments and equipment using an autoclave. Room patients per protocol, prepare them for examination, and document care accurately and promptly in the medical record. Coordinate patient care activities as directed by physicians and in alignment with company standards. Maintain exam and treatment rooms by cleaning, stocking supplies, sterilizing instruments, and following infection control precautions. Perform patient intake (phone and in-person) limited to information gathering, maintain confidentiality, and provide courteous patient service.
Qualifications:
High school/GED or equivalent. Current, Medical Assistant Certification/ Registration or ability to obtain within 120 days. Current, BLS certification.
