401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Job Summary Busy allergy & asthma office in Frisco, Texas is seeking a qualified full-time Medical Assistant (MA/CMA) to join our team! The successful candidate will enthusiastically and efficiently assist our physicians/physician assistant to provide exceptional patient care. Responsibilities Room patients, review history and ready them for examination Perform procedures (diagnostic and therapeutic) based on orders received from physician or physician assistant Injections (IM, SubQ, & ID) Skin testing Spirometry/Exhaled Nitric Oxide Phone triage for patient care concerns Communicate with internal and external clients Assist with patient education Qualifications Medical Assistant or Certified Medical Assistant or comparable designation or experience; we are willing to train the right candidate! Pleasant and professional phone and interpersonal skills Upbeat attitude, adept at communicating with and making both pediatric and adult patients feel comfortable Ability to multi-task procedures and patient care needs Ability to lift up to 30 pounds without assistance (for storing office supplies and assisting patients) Electronic medical records experience a plus!
