We specialize in medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology. Are you planning on applying to medical school, PA school or another healthcare program? Are you looking for meaningful hands-on clinical experience? Then this is an opportunity for you. As a Medical Assistant you will be responsible for providing clinicial support to ensure efficient operation of our office. You will support doctors and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization and communication. Responsibilities Interview patients and document basic medical history Scribing medical encounters in real time Assist during medical examinations Assist with dermatologic procedures and surgeries Prepare and clean treatment rooms and medical instruments Sterilizing instruments and maintaining clinical rooms Communicating lab and pathology results to patients Sending prescriptions Requirements Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational and planning skills Proficiency in MS Office and patient management software
