The primary responsibility of this position is patient registration and front desk operations, including greeting patients, verifying insurance, entering patient information, and assisting with medical records requests.
Responsibilities:
Greet and register patients upon arrival. Verify insurance and obtain demographic information. Enter accurate patient information into the EMR. Answer phones and assist with medical records requests. Obtain vital signs and basic patient history. Perform EKGs and assist with specimen collection as trained. Run point-of-care labs/testing as trained. Assist nurses/providers with patient flow and room turnover. Support clinical operations during high-volume periods.Qualifications:
Medical Assistant certification or healthcare/front office experience preferred. BLS certification required. Prior ER, urgent care, EMS, or healthcare experience preferred. Strong communication and multi-tasking skills. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. EMR experience preferred.Shifts Available:
12Hour Shifts--Full Time, PRN--Days/Nights/Weekends What We Offer:
