This position focuses on supporting patients receiving mental health services and offers the opportunity to facilitate innovative treatments such as Quantitative Electroencephalography (QEEG) and Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS). Our mission is to provide comprehensive, patient-centered mental health care that promotes healing, comfort, and an improved quality of life. The Medical Assistant will perform a variety of clinical and administrative duties to ensure efficient patient care delivery and smooth clinic operations. ResponsibilitiesFront Desk & Administrative Duties Answer incoming phone calls professionally and assist patients with scheduling and general inquiries. Respond to emails and patient communications in a timely manner. Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments. Greet and check in patients while providing exceptional customer service. Verify patient information, insurance details, and required documentation. Maintain accurate patient records in the electronic health record (EHR) system. Perform general administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, and data entry. Clinical Duties Prepare treatment rooms and equipment for patient visits. Assist providers with patient care and treatment procedures. Facilitate and monitor QEEG and TMS treatment sessions under provider supervision. Obtain and document patient information, vital signs, and treatment updates as needed. Ensure treatment areas remain clean, organized, and stocked. Follow all clinic policies, HIPAA regulations, and safety protocols. Assist with patient flow to promote efficient clinic operations. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of a Medical Assistant program preferred. Previous experience in a clinical or healthcare setting preferred. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact compassionately with patients and team members. Proficiency in medical terminology, electronic health records (EHR), and basic computer applications. Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in both clinical and administrative tasks. Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies, treatments, and protocols. Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and upholding ethical standards.
