The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care in our clinic. The Certified Medical Assistant will be responsible for assisting healthcare professionals with patient assessments, performing clinical tasks, and ensuring a smooth workflow within the medical environment. Responsibilities Measure and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse. Draw patient labs. Assist in the examination and treatment of patients by preparing them for procedures. Administer medications as directed by healthcare providers and monitor patient responses. Maintain accurate patient records using medical terminology and coding practices. Facilitate communication between patients and healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care. Prepare examination rooms by cleaning and stocking supplies as needed. Qualifications Certification as a Medical Assistant from an accredited program is required. Proficiency in measuring vital signs and understanding medical terminology. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is preferred. Experience in inpatient settings or urgent care environments is a plus. Familiarity with coding practices related to medical documentation is advantageous. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse patient populations, including geriatrics. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail to maintain accurate records and manage multiple tasks efficiently. Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while demonstrating compassion for patients.
