Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) Georgetown Integrated Medical - 1.0 Georgetown, TX Job Details Full-time From $16 an hour 8 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Qualifications Bilingual Customer communication Patient monitoring ICD coding Certified Medical Assistant Full Job Description CMA position(must have Texas certification) available at Anthony Medical and Chiropractic Center. This upbeat environment requires an individual that can handle a fast pace. Applicant must be able to handle multiple, simultaneous tasks effectively and efficiently while maintaining a professional, courteous manner. Must be able to work well with others. Strong verbal and written communication skills required. Must be detail oriented and organized. Knowledge of medical insurance and billing is a plus! High integrity, including maintenance of confidential information. We are looking for individuals that want to grow with our company.
Responsibilities include:
Responsible for screening/scheduling pt. on the Nurse Practitioner. Taking calls regarding prescriptions refills, labs, etc.. Checking email and faxes for labs, imaging, prescriptions, etc.. Prep. For the next day/week, making sure all patient information is correct and ready for the Nurse Practitioner. Confirming patient visits for the next day/week Follow up with pt. Rescheduling appointments. Audit/view NP reimbursements Checking chiropractic schedule for possible "flips" to NP. Collecting vital signs for each patient, Chief complains and other information vital to the visit. Inventory, making sure all supplies are stocked. Maintaining pt. flow Ensuring that all consent forms are ready to go NP Assist with procedures, preparing supplies Attending meetings for the medical team. Sending/Coordinating referrals being sent out and/or in office Administering injections This is a full time position that requires availability Monday-Thursday 8am-6pm, Friday 8am-5pm. This position includes medical benefits after 90 days of full-time employment and PTO after 6 months. References and a cover letter stating why you are applying is a bonus!
