Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Medical Assistant/Receptionist to join our healthcare team. This vital role combines front-office administrative support with clinical assistance, ensuring a seamless experience for patients and providers alike. The ideal candidate will be energetic, detail-oriented, and passionate about delivering exceptional patient service. You will play a key role in managing patient intake, supporting clinical procedures, and maintaining accurate medical records within a fast-paced clinic environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work for an experienced and busy Plastic Surgeon. Duties Greet patients warmly, verify their information, and assist with check-in and check-out processes using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems Collect patient vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration; document these accurately in the medical records Prepare exam rooms by ensuring cleanliness, sterilization, and readiness for clinical procedures, examinations, or medication administration when applicable Assist healthcare providers during examinations, preparing supplies, and supporting procedures Manage appointment scheduling, patient follow-ups, and coordinate referrals to specialists Support outpatient care activities by monitoring patient status and assisting with intake assessments Qualifications Prior experience in clinic settings or hospital environments with exposure to Plastic Surgery or Med Spa preferred Knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, insurance verification, phlebotomy, and medication administration techniques Proficiency with EHR systems and medical administrative support tools Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) preferred Strong patient service skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently in outpatient settings Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with healthcare teams Join us to make a meaningful difference in patient care while advancing your career in a vibrant healthcare environment. Pay:
$15.00 - $17.00 per hour
