Work hours: Full-time; 40 hours weekly; Monday
Friday (8am-5pm)

Here's What You Need
High School Diploma or equivalent (REQUIRED)
CMA
Current Medical Assistant Certification (REQUIRED)
1 year of experience as a Certified Medical Assistant (PREFERRED)
ACLS or BCLS upon hire (PREFERRED)
Willing to consider a New CMA that has completed an Externship
What You Will Do
Delivers care to patients utilizing the Certified Medical Assistant Process
Conducts patient check out, surgery scheduling and post operative calls as primary function of position
Communicates with patient regarding test results and plan of care by phone or mail as directed by physician
Provides for patient safety and protection of patient privacy rights
May work in the front office as needed
May perform other duties as assigned by practice manager, more senior staff, or as requested by healthcare provider(s)
