Job Description
We are currently looking for a full-time, entry-level medical assistant at our Katy office, which is located at 23211 First Park Dr. Full-time medical assistants must be able to maintain full-time hours for at least 12 consecutive months. We do not offer internships or part-time/short-term positions at this time. All applicants must be able to work 8AM to 5PM Monday through Friday as well as 8AM to 1PM on Saturdays. This is a unique opportunity for a motivated, personable, articulate individual who enjoys working with parents and children. We are seeking a medical assistant who is organized, self-motivated, and has expertise in customer service. Experience with eClinicalWorks is a plus. Here are some tasks/skills our MAs perform on a daily basis (not exhaustive): Rooming patients Taking vitals Administering vaccinations Performing in-house tests (e.g. flu swabs) Giving medications Please note that the medical assistant role is clinical in nature. Medical assistants work hands-on with patients during their visits. This is not a front office / administrative role.
