- Dermatology Experience Required
- Phlebotomy Skill Preferred
- Growing Dermatology practice looking for an outgoing, friendly and dependable candidate to join our team.
Qualifications required:
- EHR experience (EMA/Modernizing Medicine)
- Must have excellent customer service with an ability to multi-task efficiently
- Must be a self-starter, able to take initiative, and prefer working in a fast paced demanding environment
- Must have a positive attitude along with excellent verbal and computer data entry skills
- Ability to work well with physicians, anticipating their needs in regard to patient treatment Responsibilities will include:
- Welcoming patients and preparing patients for the health care visit
- Data entry of medical information during patient exams directly into the EMR
- Answering patient questions
- Obtaining consents
- Assisting with dermatology visits, biopsies and other medical procedures, Mohs Surgery, various minor surgeries and cosmetic procedures
- Preparing necessary surgical dressings and instructing patient in post-operative wound care, such as dressing changes and appropriate use of medications
- Straightens and cleans exam rooms after patient visits
- Completion of pathology and lab requisition documents
