Part-Time Medical Assistant -
Senior House Call Practice Practice:
Healthy Living Forever, P.A. Position Overview Healthy Living Forever, P.A. is seeking a compassionate and reliable Part-Time Medical Assistant to support a growing senior-focused house call practice. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with older adults, values personalized patient care, and is comfortable providing support in patients' homes and community settings. The position will initially require approximately 8 hours per week , with potential for growth as the practice expands. Saturday availability is preferred. Responsibilities Assist physician during home visits for senior patients. Obtain and document vital signs, medication lists, and medical histories. Prepare and maintain patient records in the electronic medical record (EMR). Assist with care coordination, referrals, and follow-up calls. Communicate with patients, family members, caregivers, and home health agencies. Perform basic clinical duties within scope of training and certification. Help organize supplies and equipment for mobile visits. Support scheduling and administrative tasks as needed. Qualifications Certified Medical Assistant (preferred but not required with relevant experience). Experience working with geriatric patients preferred. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Comfortable working independently in patients' homes. Basic computer and EMR proficiency. Reliable transportation and valid driver's license. Professional, compassionate, and patient-centered attitude. Schedule Approximately 8 hours per week initially. Saturdays preferred. Opportunity for additional hours as the practice grows. Compensation Competitive hourly rate based on experience. Mileage reimbursement for travel related to patient visits (if applicable). Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate enjoys building relationships with seniors, is dependable and organized, and is excited about helping deliver high-quality medical care directly in patients' homes.
