The right candidate will be an active member of our team, able to work well with others and also have the ability to work independently as needed. This position is located in a busy general surgery clinic and the successful candidate should have experience working closely with others. Competitive pay for the right candidate.

Responsibilities include:

Interview patients and document basic medical history Organize next day appointments to make sure testing requirements are met Update and file medical records and insurance reports into EMR Patients intake and document into EMR Assist during medical examinations if needed Produce and distribute correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms Prepare and clean treatment rooms and medical instruments Scribe visits between physician and patient if needed Assist nursing team if needed
