Job Description

Certified Medical Assistant Regency is looking for a skilled Certified Medical Assistant to join our team! Regency Pain & Therapy Institute is an Interventional Pain Management, Sports Medicine, Neuromusculoskeletal and Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine practice located in the heart of Mansfield. Our professional team is committed to delivering the "Best Experience" for every patient we treat. Combining evidence-based best practices with cutting-edge technology, we strive to deliver the highest standards of care and service and continue to be recognized as one of the best in the area. Duties and Responsibilities Greet patients and vertify their contact information and insurance data Answer phone calls, respond to patient questions, and take accurate messages File insurance forms and call insurance companies with questions about coverage Schedule new and follow-up patient appointments Prepare exam rooms, ensure supplies are ready, and room is appropriately sanitized Take and record patient vitals Assist doctor with examinations and procedures Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatments and medications Track and order medical supplies as needed Attend all required staff meetings and in-house training Other duties, as needed or assigned Requirements and Qualifications Associate degree in a medical field - Certified MA - preferred 3+ years of experience working for a healthcare practice or hospital Familiar with medical terminology Some inventory management experience Excellent time management skills to ensure workload efficiency Excellent communication, organizational skills and attention to details Professional integrity and values A desire to take care of others, (our patients and your team) Willingness to cross-train in other areas of the clinic A strong contributing member of the clinic team Familiar with eClinicalWorks (EMR System) Bilingual preferred (but not required)
