Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Medical Assistant to join our dynamic ENT practice. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in clinical support, patient service, and medical procedures within outpatient or hospital settings. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth clinic operations, delivering high-quality patient care, and supporting physicians with clinical and administrative tasks. Responsibilities Assist healthcare providers during patient examinations and procedures, including taking vital signs and preparing patients for treatment. Perform clinical tasks such as specimen collection, wound dressing, medication administration, and X-ray assistance when applicable. Manage patient intake processes efficiently by updating medical histories and ensuring accurate documentation in Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems. Support physicians with medical terminology, ICD coding for diagnoses, and understanding anatomy relevant to ENT conditions. Monitor patient progress by recording vital signs, assessing symptoms, and providing pre- and post-procedure instructions. Maintain clinical cleanliness and organization while adhering to infection control protocols within outpatient or hospital environments. Provide exceptional patient service by addressing questions, coordinating appointments, and facilitating smooth communication between patients and healthcare teams. Requirements Proven experience as a Medical Assistant in medical private practice. Familiarity with EHR systems for documentation and patient record management. Ability to perform clinical procedures such as CT Scans or medical-surgical tasks. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in fast-paced settings involving inpatient or outpatient care. Excellent communication skills with a focus on compassionate patient service and teamwork within multidisciplinary healthcare teams. $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
