Job Description
Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated experienced Certified Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide quality patient care and assist healthcare providers in a clinical setting from 9am-1pm M-F.Duties:
- Perform patient intake procedures including measuring vital signs, height, weight, and medical history documentation.
- Able to administer vaccines and injections to newborns and toddlers.
- Able to perform basic front desk duties; patients registration, checking in-out, scheduling appointments, verifying insurance eligibility and collecting payments.
- Assist healthcare providers with medical examinations and procedures
- Administer medications under the direction of a physician
- Handle patient inquiries and provide accurate information
- Maintain medical supplies inventory and ensure equipment is in working order
- Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and protocols
Qualifications:
- Certification as a Medical Assistant from an accredited institution.
- 2 years experience in pediatric office is required.
- Can administer injections and vaccinations to newborn.
- Proficiency in patient service, medical coding, and medication administration.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Pay:
$17.00- $20.
